Potato puffs

1 cup boiled potatoes

1teaspoon butter

1tbspoon milk

1 egg

1/2 cup maida

Salt and pepper

1.5tbspoon mayonnaise 

Salt and pepper

Boiled chicken (if using)

Baking soda or powder- a pinch
Mix all and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Then pour in oil a teaspoon at a time to cook till golden. Serve with some spicy Szechwan sauce!

These render some slightly from oustside and soft and yummy from inside puffs. In order to make them more crispy, roll a teaspoon of batter at a time in egg wash then in bread crumbs and then drop in the oil to cook! 

I prefer double coating with the bread crumbs, adds more crispiness and crunch to the puffs.

Cheesy Garlic Bread

Garlic paste or fresh garlic minced 2.5tbs

Butter 4tbs

Oregano 1tsp+1tbs for sprinkling

Cheddar cheese 1/2cup shredded

French bread 1

Mix butter , garlic and 1tsp oregano and spread on one side of the bread and a little butter ir oil on the other side. Grease a pan and sprinkle some shredded cheese and oregano on each piece and bake till goldenish and crisp from the base, around 10mins in the stove oven.
