Zinger Burger


  • Eggs 2
  • Maida 150 gm
  • Cornflour 50gm
  • A little water
  • Salt and pepper
  • Mixed herbs

    Mix all the above to make a thick batter.

Crispy Coating:

  • corn flakes 1 bowl
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 bowl

    Crush the corn flakes and mix with bread crumbs in a bowl.

Chicken Marination:

  • chicken filet 8
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • Red chili powder 1.5 tsp
  • Red chili crushed 2tblspoons
  • Mixed herbs 2tsp
  • oregano 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 5tblspoons
  • Chili sauce 3tbs
  • garlic paste 1 tbs
  • worcestershire sauce 3 tbs
  • mustard sauce 2 tbs/mustard powder 1 tbs


(Adjust red chili flakes according to required spice level)
Apply to chicken filet and marinate for at least 4 hours.




Coat each filet with batter then in the corn flakes bowl. Press the coating so it sticks nicely to the filet. Then put in freezer for at least 20 minutes. Heat oil and deep fry the filet. Or you can even bake it in the oven to skip the oil completely and have a guilt-free meal! (it wont be completely guilt-free unless you swap the burger bun with whole wheat and use low-fat cheese and low-fat mayo in the dressings!)


  • mayo 1/2 cup
  • Ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Kashmiri Red chili 2
  • Onion one small
  • Garlic 7 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 2tbs
  • Worcestershire sauce 2tbs

Milk as required
Put the kashmiri chilies in a bowl filled half with water and microwave for two minutes. Whiz the red chilies in a food processor with the water till a smooth paste is formed. Then add in garlic and onion chopped and whiz again till pureed. Add in remaining ingredients and whiz. If sauce is too thick add milk and whiz till required consistency is achieved. Taste. Voila!

  • jalapeños 1/4 cup
  • Mayo 1/2 cup
  • Milk as required

Whiz the mayo and jalapeños in the food processor and add milk to reach required consistency.

  • buns
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Zinger patty
  • French dressing
  • Jalapeño dressing
  • Jalapeños
  • Gherkins -not necessary
  • Cheese slices

Cut the burger bun from the center and spread the french dressing, followed by the zinger patty, top it off with a slice of cheese, place the vegetables and pour some jalapeno dressing and heat it in the microwave for half a minute and serve!
