Final Crime

Hurt me once, hurt me twice,

I came back like faithful mice

Ive been by you for so long,

You forgot where I belong,

I’ve been taking this for so long,

Made you think it isn’t even wrong

Not too long, before I’ll be gone,

In a fortnight, a new me born

Long dark nights, and empty days,

You’ll miss me in unnumbered ways

Lost you’d be, No shoulder to lean on,

All gone in a whim, No affection, no warmth

Push me away one more time,

That would be your final crime.
