Lessons of life

Over the time I’ve learned,
Every moment something I’ve earned,
For every will stands a way,
For motivated, and the ones astray,

Anything you get is not yours forever,
No matter how naive, pretentious or clever,
The grief thereafter is the size of oceans,
Every passing moment, increases in portions.

Every time you try, how hard may it be,
Within milliseconds, your achievements flee,
Once you’re on top of the world,
Next, you’re cheaper than curd.

You may love, with whole your heart,
Consequently, it has to turn to shards,
It will be broken, thrashed and crushed,
You would be betrayed, or outta lives flushed.

For every affection you portray,
A time would come when you’d be stray,
Even if one doesn’t regret,
All those memories, are hard to forget.

Over the time I’ve learned,
Every moment something I’ve earned,
Too much love eventually burns you,
You lose, more than it earns you.

Over the time I’ve learned to a degree,
But sadly my heart doesn’t agree.
Predicted is misery,
A state melancholy

And yet here I am holding on,
Hoping, trying, losing, yet loving.
And yet here I am loving to the moon,
Cause every moment is worth a fortune.
